Yeahmizy, the Igara Crooner opens up on his personal life in new interview.

CAN YOU GIVE US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOURSELF, WHO IS YEAHMIZY? 

   My name is Opeyemi Oluwaseun Bernard Agbale,i'm 

better known by my stage name 'YEAHMIZY'. i am studying entrepreneurship and business management. I am trying to achieve what hasn't been achieved yet. Live around my dreams and open doors for people who are looking to get into the industry.

CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT YOUR FAMILY BACKGROUND? 

     I was brought up in a Christian home and was taught to be prayerful and seek God's face in everything. Patience is a virtue and I was taught that too. I have three (3) brothers. My eldest brother, Festus, he plays every single instrument. The second born, 

Drey, he worked in an office. My younger brother, Dammy he is multitalented. We all help each other whenever we need to.

WHEN & WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO PURSUE A PROFESSIONAL MUSIC CAREER? 

   My love for music started as a school kid listening to different genres of music and later on discovered how I have the talent in singing at my early age when i 

recorded my first songs with my friends at "Samchel Studio Production" this was just a stint that earned me a remarkable deal of encouragement and recognition from family, friends and other artists.I continue to pursue a full time musical career due to  my experiences and passion for incredible music,i continue to hone my singing skills, Driven by my passion for music and life's experience.

WHAT IS YOUR MOTIVATION?

 My motivation to write music comes from life; what I see, what I feel, what I go through and if the beats is good. Sometimes,i write songs from the perspective of which I am looking at or someone's story at a particular season or what is going on in their lives. It inspires the message in song. I usually have different thought in mind, but generally I try to imagine how everyone can get attached to the song.

CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT YOUR LAST TRACK "IGARA"?

 Igara meaning in English is just a street slang for the word "proud" in Yoruba. "igara" is a feel good song that shows how a real star starts.One Thought that blossoms in your mind which get U Happy and makes you feel alive. That fun filled track that celebrate the party spirit, you can't help but get your dancing shoes on!

WHAT PROMPTED THE SONG?

 Like i said ealier is just a fun filled song. After a sucessful year with "your style" my fans, Dj and clubs keeps demanding for more, so decided to drop a follow up single.

 Not at the moment...

HOW DID YOUR PARENT & FAMILY FEEL ABOUT YOUR DECISION TO GO INTO MUSIC PROFESSIONALLY?

 They have been supportive right from the on set, as long as i be a good boy.lol

WHAT'S IT LIKE IN THE MUSIC SCENCE RIGHT NOW, AND HOW ARE YOU ADAPTING? 

    It's been challanging though. Everyday there are a lot of young artise gunning for the top spot hence you have to constantly be on your A game.it been God all the way.

ANY CONTROVERSY SO Far?

Not at all.

YEAHMIZY, PEOPLE THINK ALL ARTISTES ARE SNOBS, ARE YOU?

 Lol well, we are all humans, I am just privileged to be in a place where I can do or release songs that the 

majority loves. Other than that, why can't we rub shoulders?

WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON RIGHT NOW. CAN WE EXPECT AN ALBUM OR OTHER COMPLICATION OR MUSIC VIDEO IN THE NEAR FUTURE? 

 I won't like to disclose much about that but i feel they deserve to know. Expect hit after hit because i'be been taking my time learning day by day, building my music organically, creating sick rhythms, getting my sounds right, recording, delivering good vibes and re-rebranding with my team, making sure I stay connected with the 'world' at the same time, I would say growing basically. No doubt we are heading to the top, only necessarily and patiently waiting for perfect time, the goal is to turn the street vibe to intercontinental sound soon, couple of songs dropping soon. Just keep your fingers cross.

HOW DO YOU HANDLE YOUR FAME AND DISTRACTIONS?

 I do not let my head go there; I am blessed to have people around me that can give me a knock sometimes. No matter how big one is, never let fame get into the head. I also have people that I look and learn from.

ARE YOU MARRIED OR IN ANY SERIOUS RELATIONSHIP?

 At the moment i am very single, I am not dating, neither am I married. I still have a lot to do in terms of work and that is where my focus is. 

IN YOUR OWN WORDS HOW DO YOU DEFINE (YOUR STATE) 

MUSIC/ENTERAINMENT INDUSTRY?

 As intresting as it may seems, it's challanging and competitive but it feels good to know am part of the era taking it to a new level.

DO YOU HAVE A ROLE MODEL IN THE INDUSTRY?

 Yes,2baba is my role model. I'll feel blessed to be around him.
