BREAKING: Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) vows to disconnect UNILORIN and Ilorin City (Read Why)
The Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) formerly known as PHCN earlier today released a media statement via Radio and Television that there will be total blackout in Ilorin, Kwara State for a week later this year. The blackout will fall within 3rd August & 10th August. This information is coming as a 3-week notice always given by the Company.
Speaking with the Chief Press Officer of IBEDC, Mr. Theo Wizzy Ajayi, he stated that this action by the company was orchestrated by TOP government officials who were also powerful and important stakeholders in the private sector.
This move is a solidarity action for Frost Entertainment, an entertainment firm based in the city of Ilorin and Lagos, whose prime interest is in its upcoming event tagged LIGHTS OUT.
LIGHTS OUT is a face print party which is scheduled to hold on the 10th of August @ Sound Bar (20a Reservation Road, G.R.A Ilorin, Kwara State).
As at time of writing this report, we gathered that LIGHTS OUT is going to be the first of its kind in the City, plans and arrangement were being put in place to make it the best ever. We also discovered that the faces of attendees will be painted with NEON paint, and then PHCN will be called to turn off the light and then face will GLOW!!! Ticket prices were REG: 2K, VIP 4K, TABLE 30K.
